A few weeks ago, rising musician Drake tore his ACL. He then decided to take a risk and perform on the tour America's most wanted. Him taking a risk did him no justice in the end on Friday night when he fellow Young Money members, Soulja Boy and Young Jeezy performed in Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey. His doctor's was not to fond of him basically sneaking off to do the tour, because they perferred for him to take it easy. They told Drake if he injures his leg any further, he might be in a wheel chair for good. So Drake took it easy, instead of playing a full on set, he played a short set and planned on doing 3 songs. In footage (check Youtube), Drake walks pass Lil Wayne while performing and then he suddenly slips. Lil Wayne stops the track, and jokes around with the crowd in order to keep Drake's momentum up. He told the crowd to make noise for Drake, and he gave him praise. After his fall, Drake of course Tweeted his fans a thing or two. Here's proof : "We straight," he wrote. "Just to show that this ACL sh-- ain't a joke. Thanks for the support, and we'll be back ... Young moola." He then later wrote : "All is well... "On the bus laying down... Getting surgery this week but I'm walking. Thank my whole YM family for the help. Lion Hearts!" His DJ Future also Tweeted later on about the incident stating : "When you love what you do, you take risks for the people that love what you do. He took the risk for the fans." There is no confirmation whether Drake will be rejoining the tour who will be heading to Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, on Saturday night (August 1). Drake spoke to MTV few weeks ago stating : "I didn't really get any approval from my doctor, but I made a personal decision 48 hours ago that I'd be letting a lot of people down if I didn't show up and at least show them I'm there for them," Drake said. "For the last two weeks, I've been really going hard, getting all types of acupuncture, trying to bring the swelling down. I'm walking around -- no cane. I'll put a brace on it tomorrow night. No one will probably even know I'm injured...I'm not doing my own set. That's one thing I have to apologize to my fans about. It's too much of a risk, if I hit that wrong turn [doing] 30 minutes every night. If I tear my ACL again, the doctors say I might not be able to walk again. I have to be cautious." Well I wish you the best Drake, because your an awesome guy and artist. You only deserve the best !
